I’m A Celeb fans spark concern for campmate as they’re convinced she’s ‘depressed’ and demand producers step in
I’M A Celeb fans have sparked concern for one camp mate after noticing that she seemed ‘really depressed’ while watching the latest Bushtucker trial.
Viewers even insisted that a medic or producer should check on Grace Dent because she looked so disturbed during the ordeal.
The famous food critic sat on the away bench as a selected number of her teammates were forced to drink horrible mixtures to earn meals for the camp.
Nigel Farage was one of the competitors who had to glug down everything from blended snails to fermented duck eggs.
Although Grace was on the sidelines, viewers noticed she looked even more distressed than the participants in the challenge, and became worried.
A few fans took to X to express their concern.
One person fretted: “I’m actually worried about Grace Dent, she looks really poorly whilst they drink this awful stuff.”
Another agreed: “Grace is having an existential crisis on the bench.”
A third questioned: “Someone needs to send a medic to Grace is she OK?”
Someone hit out at show bosses for not checking on her, saying: “Is no one going to check on Grace she seems really depressed and ready to burst into tears?!”
A fifth viewer sympathised: “Poor Grace, she looks like she’s had a belly full of camp life.”
I’m A Celeb watchers had previously expressed concern for the award winning food writer, saying she looked ill and should be seen by a doctor.
It came as Grace shocked viewers by threatening to quit the show.
When she got selected to participate in one of the challenges Grace pulled Josie to one side and admitted: “I’ve had enough. I’ve completely had enough.
“I’ve just completely, mentally gone. I just want to go home.”
