Major noughties rock band set for first ever UK tour as they pay tribute to their dead superstar frontman
LINKIN Park frontman Chester Bennington’s band Grey Daze are going to kick off their first ever tour of the UK.
Chester was found dead at a private residence in Palo Verdes Estates, Los Angeles on July 20 2017.
Grey Daze – which was originalled called Sean Dowdell and His Friends? – was formed in 1993 by Chester and Sean Dodwell.
They were joined by Jason Barnes and Jonathan Krause.
They stayed together until the late 90s/ early noughties and released two studio albums Wake Me and No Sun Today.
Chester left in 1998 and joined Xero AJA Linkin Park.
The star put forward a reunion in 2017, and after his death, the band released Amends in 2020, followed by The Phoenix in 2022.
Now it has been revealed that the band shared the exciting news that they are going to be touring the UK for the first time.
Sharing the news on Instagram, they said: “Hey everybody we’re Grey Daze, we are excited to announce our very first UK tour in 2024.
“Come out and see us, we’re going to zip around and play some shows man. Mid May.”
They added the dates and venues on the video, as well as: “#foryouChester.”
Grey Daze will be performing in Bristol, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton, and London.
Fans rushed to the comments section to share the love.

Chester was the lead singer for a number of bands – Grey Daze, Linkin Park, Dead By Sunrise and Stone Temple Pilots.
