Stacey Solomon reflects on ‘dramatic’ change as she shares family Christmas snap
IT’S been a busy year for Stacey Solomon with a number of TV shows under her belt, a string of brand deals and she even welcomed her fifth child – so it’s no wonder that the star was in a reflective mood.
The Loose Women panellist, 34, reflected on how much her life has changed in the last five years as she shared a festive snap of her front door at Pickle Cottage.
Stacey posed alongside her husband Joe Swash and her kids Zachary, 15, Leighton, 10, Rex, four, 23-month-old Rose and six-month-old Belle from their £1.2m Essex mansion.
She captioned the post: “Hello December. Had to take our annual door photo. Then I went down a rabbit hole looking at our old Christmas door photos.
The Bake Off host then listed some of her biggest milestones, from getting engaged in 2020 to celebrating her first Christmas as a wife last year.
She added: “They’ve all changed so much. Honestly I’m so glad every year we do this.
“Because so much changes in a year the last 5 years have changed for us dramatically It’s been the most magical whirlwind.”
Many fans were thrilled to see how far Stacey has come in the last few years.
One wrote: “What a throwback! Lovey to see all these photos! And the family growing bigger each year, beautiful memories.”
Another said: “I’ve no idea why but this made me feel emotional – you adorable bunch.”
This year, Stacey has gone for a traditional theme and decorated Pickle Cottage in reds, golds and greens.
Standing guard in front of the door are her two giant Nutcrackers, which she made herself with plastic tubing and spray paint.
Stacey had also placed her ‘Christmas bells’ and massive baubles outside, which she whipped up from her children’s old space hoppers.
The rest of her decorations are made up from lashings of fir garlands, red baubles and festive foliage.
Her first two Christmas door photographs were taken outside Joe and Stacey’s old house when Rex was just a baby.
The coupled sold that humble property in 2021 and bought Pickle Cottage for a cool £1.2million.
Stacey and Joe have been busy renovating their ‘forever home’ for the past two years, while expanding their family at the same time.
