Savvy shopper shares how to nab huge tub of Cadbury’s Heroes from Tesco for under £2
A SAVVY shopper has revealed the clever way she bagged a tub of Cadbury’s Heroes for less than £2.
The popular chocolate, ideal for Christmas time, is currently on special offer at Tesco for £3.89 for those with a clubcard.
But one woman discovered another big loophole to get even more money off the box, which includes favourites like Dairy Milk and Wispa.
Revealing her money-saving hack, the lady said all you need to do is get your hands on a code from Sky VIP, who are currently offering £2 off of a chocolate purchase in Tesco.
Sky VIP is available for Sky customers only and can be accessed through the My Sky app in the Festive Night in voucher section.
And once you’d applied the generous discount at the checkout, the 550g tub was yours to take home for just £1.89.
Alongside a snap of her purple tub, and the receipt to show how the price was broken down, the happy customer was excited to share how she’d landed the big savings deal.
She then wrote in the Facebook Extreme Coupon and Bargains UK group: “Sky VIP giving £2 off Cadbury chocolate voucher.
“Works with the offer in Tesco where Cadbury Heroes are £3.89 with a clubcard.
“£1.89 for a tub – happy days!”
And it didn’t take long for fellow sweet toothed social media users to take notice of the offer.
One person typed: “Ooh, thanks for that tip!”
A second social media user wrote: “That’s brilliant, thank you.”
And a third person said: “Ooh that’s good!!”
A fourth also joined the conversation as they thanked her for the tip.
They said: “Oh wow, didn’t know you could do that. Got my voucher so I will grab a tub!”
Meanwhile, plenty of others said they’d already followed in her footsteps and taken advantage of the savings.
One Facebook user said: “I did exactly the same earlier with mine – bargain!”
While another added: “Movie night sorted!”
Many other bargain hunters also tagged their family members and close friends to spread the news, as the post racked up hundreds of likes.
