Cleaning fan shares how you can make your laundry dry in 20 minutes without heating & it’s all thanks an AliExpress find
A SAVVY cleaning fanatic has revealed how an affordable buy you can get from AliExpress has made drying clothes a breeze.
With winter in full force, many of us are wondering about the same thing – how to dry your wet laundry now that hanging it in the garden is no longer an option.
Although there are plenty of simple solutions, such as switching the heating on or investing in a dehumidifier, these are all costly methods millions of cash-strapped households cannot afford.
But luckily, one cleaning enthusiast has come to rescue with a budget-friendly hack – and not only is it more affordable, it will also make your laundry dry in under 30 minutes.
The easy answer here is using a nifty little gadget – a portable dryer that you can order online from both Amazon, as well as AliExpress and other popular sites.
Rather than letting them sit on a normal rack for hours – and even days – on end, the winter essential will ensure the washing is ready to be stored away in 20 minutes, the shopper, Elnaz Hamai, claimed.
Accordin to Elnaz, who posts under the username @elnazhamai, the portable machine can hold up to nine clothing items at a time and it won’t damage your delicate garments and baby clothes either.
Although each product will vary depending on the price, Elnaz’s dryer also came with a special hook, which meant she could let in hang anywhere in her home – even by the doors.
”It’s so compact and portable that you can take it with you when you’re travelling – or you can just store it in the cabinet.”
Online retail giant Amazon offers a number of portable dryers, with the cheapest option selling for £45.99.
Meanwhile, fellow rival AliExpress has a great range to choose from as well – however, prices start from as little as £10.05.
Need more convincing to snap up one? There are plenty of positive reviews online where shoppers are raving about the laundry must-have.
One person said: ”The product itself is great, really easy to assemble and keeps the whole room warm during these cold winter days!”
Another chimed in: ”I wasn’t sure what to expect from this clothes dryer (also called a drying pod) but it’s turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
”I was expecting a pool of water underneath the pod but the only sign of water was on the heating vent cover (only a few drops).
”There’s no sign of condensation anywhere else in the room.”
However, there are also plenty of other hacks to cut the drying time, Fabulous recently found out chatting to Petya Holevich, a home maintenance expert.
Use towels to absorb moisture
A simple towel can be your best friend when it comes to speeding up drying time, the whizz said.
“To help with the drying process, lay a clean, dry towel on a flat surface and place your clothes on top of it.
“Roll them together to remove excess water from the clothes, folding it like a log and squeezing tightly, and replace the towel if it becomes too damp.”
Reduce the laundry load
The laundry expert explained: “Overloading the appliance with too many items can actually result in them being damper and more creased.
“This won’t only make the drying time longer, but you’ll also need to do more ironing afterwards.”
Use coat hangers
Coat hangers can also be used to hang more clothes on a drying rack and allowing more air to circulate them.
You can also hang them on your curtain rail in the sun and the best part is that it will reduce the likelihood of your clothes needing ironing after, the pro added.
