Gamers rush to take part in incredible giveaway with over £100k worth of consoles – and it costs nothing to enter

ONE of gaming’s biggest ever giveaways is about to begin, with more than £100k worth of gaming consoles up for grabs.

The huge giveaway is free to enter, and you can win just by sitting at home.

Up for grabs are 200 portable gaming consoles and handheld computers that are great for gamers on the go.

People who live in the UK have the chance to grab one of 100 Steam Deck OLEDs with 1TB of storage.

This is Valve’s newest version of the Steam Deck, with an improved battery life, and a beautiful, rich OLED screen.

The model being given away is the 1TB model which is the most expensive model selling for £569.

Participants from the US can enter for a chance to win a Steam Deck but are also eligible to win one of 100 Lenovo Legion Gos.

The Lenovo Legion Go is an alternative to the Steam Deck that is open to more online storefronts than just Steam.

Running on Windows OS, you can download and play DRM-free games, and games from other store fronts like Epic Games.

These are pricier than the Steam Deck and cost around £699 / $699.

This giveaway will begin as soon as The Game Awards show starts on December 7, at 4:30pm PT / 7:30pm ET and on December 8 at 12:30am GMT.

The Game Awards is the equivalent of the gaming Oscars, and where gaming’s biggest awards are given out.

The show lasts between three to four hours and will feature over 30 awards and hundreds of game trailers.

You can enter each sweepstake up to four times, by entering your email, connecting to your Steam account and by following certain Twitter accounts.

Winners will be picked at random from however many entries the competitions receive.
