I made so much DIY Christmas decor for $2.28 – you don’t have to spend a ton to have a magical winter wonderland at home
A HOME decorator has decked her halls this Christmas with DIY decor for only $2.28.
Budget decoration never looked so tempting as in this magical winter wonderland.
It proves you don’t have to spend a ton to create such festive memories.
Anyone can pull this seasonal scene together that would give Macy’s a run for their money.
The idea came from all-round Christmas lover Adored by Morgan (@adoredbymorgan_).
This lady certainly likes to make an impact when it comes to home decor.
She makes no bones about it on her TikTok, where she shares her love of “decorating my dwelling and disco tiling everything.”
“I made all these hanging snowflakes for $2.28,” she said in her post.
Her room was festooned with snowflakes creating a picture-perfect scene.
“This is cheap and easy DIY with a ton of impact,” she said.
“Create your winter wonderland on a budget. It’s fun, easy, and super affordable.”
She explained the process, but first, she had all the elements for her decor hack laid out in front of her.
“All you need are paper bags, scissors, and hot glue.
“Place your bag flapside down and hot glue in a T all the way down the bag.”
Repeat the process with the next bag. After you’ve glued four bags together, you can start cutting out your snowflake shape.
“You can add notches, circles, whatever design you want,” she said. “Just have fun with it.”
“Next glue another set of four bags together. Place them flap-side down and add some more glue on top,” she explained.
“We’re going to add the four bags that we’ve already cut on top of these uncut bags to use as a template.”
