If you host the holidays then Aldi is the place, I raided the ‘aisle of shame’ on restock day, my arms were full for $37
A SAVVY shopper raided the “aisle of shame” at Aldi for the shop’s latest bargain buys.
Her arms were full of gifts after taking a walk through their discount section, and she only spent $37.
One of her favorite finds was an ugly sweater sugar cookie kit[/caption]TikToker Genevieve (@genevieve.show) created a video about her Christmas shopping haul.
Aldi had the influencer saying “Aldi who” after finding an abundance of affordable items.
“Wednesday is stock day,” she said at the beginning of her post.
“As you can see I’m a sucker for holiday baking goodies, snacks, and Christmas kitchenware,” Genevieve added.
“If you’re hosting the holidays, Aldi is the place,” she said in the video.
A “remarkable” find was a glass sipper ornament from Crofton, which costs $3.99, and a holiday spatula set for $6.99.
Throughout the shopping spree, many of the items that grabbed Genevieve’s attention were by Crofton, the kitchenware line sold at Aldi.
“This brand is literally everything,” she said about Crofton.
The next thing that caught Genevieve’s eye was a mini waffle maker from Waflera with a gingerbread man design.
“Stop it right now,” she declared when she came across a cute snowflake ice tray.
Genevieve said she was “really mad” when she found a mini pancake iron with cute holiday designs selling for $1.75 since she paid $10.
“This might come home with me,” Genevieve said, upon finding a Christmas tree-shaped wood serving board for $9.99.
Genevieve found a cordless mixer selling for $14.99, which she said was, “Kind of crazy.”
Another fun find was the gingerbread house kits, which retail for $9.99.
“I’m telling you if you have a girlfriend, she wants to do this with you,” she said. “But if you’re not trying to have any fights, get the remade one.”
Genevieve snagged holiday sprinkles to garnish her holiday cocktails.
She found Christmas cookie cutters for $1.39 and an ugly sweater sugar cookie kit for $4.99.
Aldi still has festive porch signs in stock, retailing for $12.99.
In the personal hygiene section, Genevieve discovered a manscaping dupe for $14.99 and a facial steamer for $19.99.
The shopper liked the idea of buying a $19.99 heated foot massage for someone who needs a gift for a server or a nurse.
The TikToker felt inspired when she walked down the candy aisle.
“If you need to stuff your stocking, Aldi is your place,” she said.
She found Kisses candy canes that cost $2, Choceur chocolates for $2.98, and holiday Pez dispensers.
“If you have children, come to Aldi and shop for them,” she told her followers.
The final thing Genevieve purchased was a coloring book. “I got this for myself,” she said. “A good anxious girl gift.”
The TikToker said she only came to Aldi to look, but she wound up spending $37.
She showed a picture of herself holding all the items in her arms.
She took home the cookie cutters, the sugar cookie kit, sprinkles, Kisses candy canes, peanut butter cups, plates, the cutting board, and pretzels.
