Perfume pro shares the three worst Zara fragrances – including the popular dupe she reckons smells ‘mouldy’
A PERFUME pro has shared the three worst Zara fragrances – so if you want to smell fresh and turn heads (for the right reasons), then you’ll need to listen up.
Perfume lover Josephine, known on social media as Jus de Rose, is originally from Switzerland, but is now based in London, where she works in beauty.
Josephine explained that she loves perfume so much that she has over 400 bottles of different fragrances and even wears scent to bed.
Recently, we have seen a variety of Zara fragrances go viral online, with many praising the high-street chain’s affordable dupes.
But now, the luxury fragrance fan has shared her honest thoughts on the ‘worst Zara perfumes.’
Posting online, Josephine said: “The worst ZARA fragrances ever created.
“Definitely save your money on those.”
The first Zara perfume that Josephine can’t stand is Incense Sunset, as she explained: “This smells like a cheap household cleaning product – really synthetic.
“it’s disgusting. I cannot give you a zero, so I’m gonna give you a one.”
Not only this, but she then got candid on the Amber Petals scent, as she added: “It’s not a bad scent, per se, this is like a very pretty, musky, floral scent.
“But it’s gone within two minutes of application. Poof, like magic. One out of 10.”
Finally, Josephine claimed that Ancestral Papyrus, which is supposedly a Diptyque dupe, in her opinion, smells mouldy.
She concluded: “People are saying it’s meant to smell like Philosykos by Diptyque, which is an expensive fig perfume. It’s not the case.
“Picture this – you’re mowing the lawn and the machine spits up the grass residue, this, like dried grass.
“It’s like slightly mouldy. This is what this perfume smells like.
“Another one out of 10.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jusderose, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly amassed 231,400 views.
Social media users were keen to share their thoughts in the comments about Zara fragrances and while some agreed with Josephine’s claims, not everyone was on board.
One person said: “All Zara perfumes are bad. They all cause me a headache. Especially men’s Zara perfumes.”
Meanwhile, another added: “Nah, I completely disagree on Incense Sunset. It’s perfect for summer. I get complimented on it every time I wear it.”
At the same time, a third asked: “Why do you own them then?”
In response, the perfume lover confirmed: “I blind bought them to review on YouTube and had a few bad surprises.”
