The clever check you should make when landing at any airport to speed up getting out, according to TV travel host
AN AMERICAN TV host has shared with her viewers on Instagram the first thing they should do when they arrive at the airport.
Samantha Brown, 53, has been travelling for over 20 years and gives travel advice to her followers.
In one of her most recent videos, she explains why airport goers should plan their return as soon as they arrive at an airport.
In the video, Samantha says: “It’s natural to want to make a beeline for the exit.
“Only looking for baggage claim signs.”
She adds: ” But it’s my experience that the terminal you have arrived at is most likely the terminal you will be returning to.”
Samantha’s Instagram account has just under 350,000 followers and has over 1,500 posts advising people on how to maximise your travels.
Samantha says by planning your return as soon as you arrive you can make your return journey much smoother.
She says: “Start making a mental note of your journey.
“Is there a great local restaurant that has an airport location you can enjoy when you come back?”
Later adding: “What is security like on both sides?
“Is it a hot mess or does it look on both sides is it a hot mess or does it look like they have got everything under control.”
She also adds that it is important to see how many “escalators it takes to get out of the airport”.
Samantha says: “Just take it in – process it for when you have to return.
She finally added: “Now this in no way an exact science but knowing what you know now, you will be able to make a more informed decision of not only when to get to the airport but maybe just maybe how to enjoy it.”
Samantha’s followers were grateful for her most recent travel advice.
One user commented: “So true.
“Makes the return trip so much less crazy.”
Another person wrote: “Never thought of that… thanx.”
While another said: “This is such good advice.”
Samantha Brown is famous for her work as a host of numerous travel channel shows including, Girl Meets Hawaii and Passport to Europe.
