I wanted a playroom so put my FOUR kids’ beds in one room – I love it but trolls think it’s ‘cramped’ & ‘sad’
A MUM has divided opinion after revealing how she turned one of her daughter’s bedrooms into a playroom.
Monica explained that she was so desperate to have a “game room” for her girls that she decided to put her seven-year-old, six-year-old and three-year-old twins in one room.
To do so, she had to move the bunk bed to the other side of the room, and moved the two other single beds from one room to the other.
“I think I’m going to regret this, but it’s something that can get changed really quickly, right?” Monica said in a video on her TikTok page as she moved the bits around.
She then put all the storage cabinets and toy cupboards into the other room.
She also managed to fit in a desk and put a television on the wall.
“This has honestly worked out so great for us, we have been able to subside the mess and clean up has been 10x easier!” she said.
“Also naptimes and bed times have been a lot smoother!
“I have big plans for the game room so stay tuned.”
However, trolls weren’t so convinced that moving the rooms around was such a good idea – particularly that the four children were all sharing the same room.
“So cramped,” one wrote.
“Oldest 2 need their own space,” another insisted.
“I’d be so mad,” a third added.
“So they went from having no personal space/privacy to… reallllllly no personal space/privacy lol,” someone else agreed.
“They’re going to absolutely hate that,” another wrote.
“This is insane,” someone else added.
“Van life in a HOUSE is crazy,” another said.
“It’s so sad, looks like a hostel,” someone else sighed.
But others defended Monica, with one writing: “I think it’s fine bc now that room is just for sleeping and relaxing they don’t need floor space.
“And now they won’t be up playing instead of sleeping!”
“Ding ding ding!! You get it,” Monica replied.
“People can be so opinionated it’s not even funny!!” someone else said.
“You’re doing amazing mama! I have seen you raise these 5 precious girls and you & your husband are doing great!
“Don’t ever feel discouraged mama.”
“Ignore the hate momma. If it works for your family it’s perfect!” a third commented.
