‘Go to the bathroom,’ gym girl jokes outfit move ‘always feels illegal’ and trolls say it should be
THERE are all sorts of bold moves in a gym, but there is one that “always feels illegal.”
But a few trolls have failed to see the joke in one gym girl’s outfit maneuver.
She’s been advised she should “go to the bathroom” for this outfit changeover.
Keyboard warriors, meanwhile, are getting flustered and say it is outside decent legal boundaries.
Fortunately, Valeriia (@vallinutrition) shows no sign of being remotely bothered by the tiny minority of her small-minded followers.
She has over 225,000 on her TikTok, where she insists “strong is beautiful.”
Her post was relatable to many gym-goers, especially at this time of the year.
You arrive at your gym in a snowstorm, so you’re cold and keep your pants on until you warm up.
Once your temperature has risen, you want to remove some layers.
Underneath you are wearing gym shorts and a top.
But the inevitable stripping off can be self-conscious at times.
“The one move that always feels illegal in the gym,” she said as she and her buddy took off their pants.
“All gym girlies in the winter,” she said.
“Relatable. Taking your pants off.”
Underneath, they wore matching sports bras and short sets in orange and green.
One commenter didn’t dare take hers off in front of everyone.
“I go to the bathroom,” she said.
But one commenter figured they were doing it for all the wrong reasons.
“Attention,” he said.
He, however, was shouted down by other viewers.
“We don’t give two craps about attention. I want to feel good while working out therefore not overheating or being too cold,” wrote one person in a strong rebuffal.
“Let people do what makes them comfortable. It’s not your life bro. Go live your sad one,” she added.
Another keyboard warrior said: “Imagine guys taking off sweatpants in the gym to work out in underwear.”
There was another strong response.
“These are shorts, they’re not underwater. Men wear shorts all the time or work out topless. So yes, we can wear shorts.”
