Easy hack cleans your windows in seconds, leaving them shiny and streak-free – and all you need is a 79p product
AS the days are getting longer and the temperature is climbing you may have started to notice that your windows are looking a tad grubby.
A cleaning whizz has shared a quick and easy hack for getting them nice and sparkling again in no time.
Jessica May shared her window scrubbing hack via a video posted to her Tiktok channel @jessicamay_home.
She often uses the account to share helpful cleaning tips and tricks.
Jessica’s videos are extremely popular with TikTok users and she has racked up over 254,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
In the video, the cleaning pro mixed equal parts washing up liquid and white vinegar and in a Dishmatic fillable sponge on a stick.
She then gave the mixture a shake and started to rub it on to her patio window.

After she had covered the whole window, Jessica used a handheld squeegee to remove the liquid.
She then wiped the bottom of her windows with a microfibre cloth to get rid of any excess liquid that had dripped down from the glass.
Jessica added that if you do not have a dishmatic brush, you can mix the vinegar and washing up liquid in a and apply it to your windows using a regular sponge.
After she had wiped her windows clean, they looked sparkling and there was not a streak in site.
“Just look at that shine”, she said.
White vinegar is made by fermenting grain alcohol which makes acetic acid.
This acid is a powerful cleaning solution, meaning that white vinegar is great for tackling tough stains, and can even help to banish mould.
What’s more, it is super cheap, and can be purchased from b&M for as little as 79p.
Jessica’s video has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up over 333,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on the cleaning hack.
