‘I’m on my 10th bag’ foodies rave as new flavour for cult favourite chocolate hits the shelves but others feel ‘sick’
FOODIES have been left totally divided after spotting a brand new chocolate flavour landing in stores – but would YOU eat it?
With Easter just a few weeks away, many have been stocking up on sweet treats – whether that’s a massive 3kg chocolate bunny or a brand new Easter egg from M&S that comes with a surprise inside.
But if you fancy trying out something unusual and exciting, it’s worth heading to ASDA, where shoppers have found a new flavour for a cult favourite chocolate.
According to foodies, Nestle have now introduced their famous Aero Melts in a brand new format – however, the flavour combination has sparked a fierce debate on social media.
The bitesize pieces of their signature aerated chocolate are available in a nostalgic flavour that’s giving us major throwbacks – Neapolitan ice cream.
These brand new Aero Melts features the three tastes – strawberry, chocolate and vanilla – and the sweet treat can be snapped up from ASDA for £1.35.
But whilst the product is amongst the latest chocolate launches to hit the stores, not everyone will be racing to give the treat a go.
A snap of the colourful packaging was shared on Facebook by one member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group and hundreds raced to share their thoughts.
As dozens tagged their friends and family to inform them about the news, others were far from impressed.
One, for instance, had left a puking emoji, whilst a fellow foodie described the flavour as ”revolting”.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, one follower of UKNewestFoods, was left in two minds of the triple-flavoured sweet.
”Can’t decide if these sound good or not.’’
‘’Absolutely minging,’’ a person chimed in.
‘’I hope they’re nicer than the honeycomb ones,’’ added another chocolate lover.
However, lots of others have also been raving about the latest addition to the food aisles, going on about how much they wanted them.
”I would like a bag of these, please,’’ wrote one Instagram user.
Another joked saying their pal simply couldn’t get enough of the ice-cream taste and was already on their ”tenth bag”.
”Amazing, especially the strawberry ones,” someone else added.
”Yes, got them Heron [Foods] on Sunday. They’re nice,” a foodie penned.
