I live in a tiny home with a special toilet – I have to teach guests how to use it, people compare it to a litter box
WHILE some people prepare for visitors by cleaning or making snacks, one woman teaches her guests how to use her toilet.
The tiny home dweller showed her followers her unique bathroom set-up that people are comparing to a litter box.
A tiny home dweller poked fun at having to teach her visitors how to use her toilet[/caption]The homeowner, who goes by Petite Living (@petiteliving), demonstrated how to theoretically use her toilet.
“Teaching my guests how to use a dry toilet,” she wrote in the caption of the clip.
While the TikToker obviously didn’t use the facilities she explained the trick to it.
“Liquids in front, solids in back, tissue in the back,” she told her viewers.
She gave her audience a glimpse inside the toilet, which had no water inside.
Instead, the bottom of the bowl was divided into a front and back section.
The front section was simple a funnel into a pipe for liquids to move through.
However, the back section resembled a small pit, which required an odd extra step to use.
“Cover with peat moss,” she explained as she scooped the dirt from a container beside her sink into the toilet.
She admitted that the concept was inspired by a cat’s litter box.
“Not y’all saying litter box,” joked one viewer in the comments section of the video.
“Lol, it works in a very similar way,” the homeowner replied.
“I’m [going to] just make sure I use the bathroom before I come,” said another follower.
“This is a creative way to tell me not to come over,” commented a third person.
