‘Bring it back!’ shout Love Island viewers as they demand return of iconic challenge to reunite Molly and Callum

LOVE Island All Stars viewers have demanded the return of an iconic show challenge as the potential trigger for Molly and Callum’s reunion.

Despite the exes being happily coupled up with other partners Tom and Jess, both 24 – and insisting their three-year relationship is well and truly done – some fans suspect differently.

This has led them to continually hold out hope for a reunion on the Love Island All Stars stage.

Now they are demanding the return of the iconic lie detector test – responsible for many a Love Island drama – to prove the stars’ feelings once and for all.

One took to X to demand: “Bring the lie detector back x”

A second put: “BRING LIE DETECTOR BACK!!” as a third commented: “Lie detector plssss.”

Another added: “Callum and Molly are made for each other like.”

We previously reported how show bosses had axed the lie detector segment back in 2019 in a bid to clean up the programme.

At the time, an ITV source said the decision came after recent show suicides and said: “A series of top-level meetings have been held over the past few weeks with regard to safety measures and duty of care procedures.

“One of the issues raised was the lie detector. The feeling was, in the wake of the Jeremy Kyle case, bosses must be whiter than white — they cannot mess with people’s emotions.

“The test they used last year was very basic — one not approved by the British Polygraph Association.

“While nothing is set in stone and ideas change on an almost daily basis, at the moment there are no plans to bring the polygraphs back.”

The measures came after a spate of shocking reality TV suicides, including the deaths of Islanders Sophie Gradon, 32, and Mike Thalassitis, 26.

Meanwhile, fans have demanded All Stars anchor Maya Jama intervenes to bring Callum and Molly back together.

They are insisting the host tells the Manchester-born model how a cuddly toy dog named after her pooch Nelly was in fact Callum’s idea on Valentine’s Day – not her partner Tom’s.

It came as Tom, for his part, did not confess that it was Callum who came up with the whole plot.

Now fans have taken to social media to demand justice, believing that if Molly was to learn the truth it might change her feelings towards her ex.
