I found a $5 Aldi dupe for a beloved discontinued Urban Decay palette – I’m shook, they don’t feel cheap
EVERY woman knows the pain of finding a holy grail product only for it to get discontinued.
One beauty fan tested a $5 buy to see if it was a dupe for the Urban Decay Smoky Palette.
In her video, Erin Dugan Jurchak (@erinduganjurchak) explained that her friend had given her an eyeshadow palette she found at Aldi.
“Is this a $5 dupe for the beloved discontinued Urban Decay smokey palette?” the TikToker asked before examining the item.
She took out one of her Urban Decay palettes to compare the two products.
“I am absolutely beside myself that I did not save my Smoky Palette but here’s my Urban Decay Wild West Palette just so you can see,” Erin explained.
She pointed out that the cases and the eyeshadow pans were “exactly the same size.”
As she tried swatches on the back of her hand, Erin shared her initial thoughts on the budget buy.
“I’m shook, they really don’t feel cheap or chalky, I’m getting pay off,” she told her viewers.
“Part of me really thought this was going to be like play makeup but I’m telling you [it’s not].”
Erin did a quick test look on her eyes, praising the various shades in the palette.
“If you don’t grab a quarter and get you’re a** to Aldi,” she told her audience.
Erin’s followers shared their thoughts on the dupe in the comments section.
