I’ve figured out how to get a FREE drink when I order a takeaway at Five Guys – it works every time
A WOMAN has shared a simple trick which she said gets her a free drink every time she’s in Five Guys.
Karen Leech shared the hack via a video posted to her TikTok channel @inspector_sgt_leech.
The health inspector often uses the account to share advice on food hygiene and safety.
“This works for me every time”, she said.
Explaining her hack, Karen said that when she gets a Five Guys, she doesn’t go into the fast food restaurant to order, but instead orders from her car.
She added that she does not add a drink to her order and just orders food.
After Karen had placed her burger order, she requested to collect her food inside the restaurant.
She walked up to the counter and explained that she was waiting for her food delivery.
“Lets see if the counter staff ask us if we want a free drink while we’re waiting”, she said.
Sure enough, a member of staff asks Karen if she would like a free drink, and hands her a cup to fill with a fizzy drink of her choice.
“It worked perfectly”, she said.
“There you go, there’s my free cup, whilst i’m waiting for my online order to be ready”.
Karen headed over to the soda machine and filled her cup up with a tasty looking Fanta.
“Thank you Five Guys, for saving me £4.25”, she said.
Karen also pointed out that drinks are Five Guys are refillable, so you can get unlimited drinks for free.
The video has clearly left many impressed, as it has racked up over 17,000 views in just a few hours.
