Loose Women star calls for Jedward to enter CBB as celebrity lodgers in final week – and confront Louis Walsh
LOOSE Women star Denise Welch has called for Jedward to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house as celebrity lodgers in the final week – to confront Louis Walsh.
It comes after Louis, 71, reignited his feud with the pop star twins during a chat with Corrie legend Colson Smith last night.
Denise Welch has pleaded that Jedward should go in the CBB house[/caption]Colson asked the Irish music mogul what the twins – real names Jonathan and Edward Grimes, 32 – were like to work with.
Louis brutally said: “They were vile but they were great for the show.I got five million quid for them.”
This caused outrage, with many defending the brothers, including fans and best pal Gemma Collins.
Soap star Denise took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to plead with ITV bosses to put the twins in the house now that Sharon Osbourne has gone.
She said: “I’m hoping that @planetjedward are signing their contracts as we speak!! Go get him guys!!! #CBBUK.”
Many fans agreed with the actress.
One replied: “This would MAKE the show imagine Louis face as they walk in.”
Another chimed in: “How amazing would that be.”
“Me too, now that would be real entertainment, come on CBB,” a third wrote.
Jedward shot to fame in 2009 when they took part in the sixth series of ITV’s The X Factor.
The brothers were the seventh act to leave the competition and were managed by Louis during their stint on the programme.
After The X Factor Louis took over as management – and the boys released various albums, performed at Eurovision and went on tour.
“They were vile but they were great for the show. I got five million quid for them.
Louis Walsh on Jedward
In 2013 Jedward’s late mum Susanna Condron took over as their manager.
After hearing what their former manager said about them on the show, Jedward took to X to have their say.
They raged: “Louis Walsh is a cold hearted b*****d who didn’t even send us flowers when our mom died.”
The pair added on the platform: “Louis Walsh B****ed and talked about us to our best friend Tara Reid.
Celebrity Big Brother line-up
Who are the 13 stars appearing in the Celebrity Big Brother house? The Sun's Jamie Downham takes a look...
Sharon Osbourne – TV legend – who is a “house guest” on a megabucks deal – said she was doing the show for “a good time not a long time”
Louis Walsh – Irish boyband manager who has never knowingly backed down from a fight and is not above pulling rank over the double bed
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu – As we know from Love Island, the Ek-ster is capable of throwing about some dramatics to claw her way to the final
Levi Roots – Reggae Reggae Sauce sauce packs a bit of a kick, but its inventor seems quite mild-mannered. Will that change under pressure?
Fern Britton – The former This Morning star called out Phillip Schofield – don’t think she won’t do the same to anyone who tangles with her
Colson Smith – You’ll probably know him best as Corrie’s Craig Tinker – but prepare to find out he’s not much like his character
David Potts – Ibiza Weekender’s breakout star has left that show behind – as well as his trousers by the look of things
Gary Goldsmith – Kate Middleton’s uncle is a big signing for ITV, but has proved a divisive booking among viewers
Marisha Wallace – It’s not CBB without the role of ‘American who doesn’t know what they’ve let themselves in for’ and she’s doing brilliantly
Nikita Kuzmin – The Strictly pro is coming onto the show fresh off the show’s tour. Poor lad probably just wants a rest
Zeze Mills – the social media star has a “no holds barred interview style” – and she hasn’t backed away from calling people (well, Louis) out
Bradley Riches – The actor played kindly James McEwan in Netflix hit Heartstopper and he seems just as sweet in the house
Lauren Simon – She’s a Real Housewives of Cheshire star and you really don’t get on that show by being shy and retiring
“Girls aloud hate Louis! Jedward hate Louis! Ronan Keating hates Louis! All future acts should be made aware of what this VILE man is really like.
“Louis reopened these wounds all by himself being spiteful and disrespectful we aren’t going to have our character taken. Justice will be served.”
