Over two decades after her role, fans are stunned by how she appears to have stopped the clock.
Rebecca, now 52, recently shared snaps of a girls holiday to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
She posed in several different swimsuits, flaunting her incredible figure.
“Gorgeous,” one wrote, while another said: “Love the pic of you lying down. It’s so beautiful and natural Rebecca.”
“That yellow bikini (fire emojis) bringing it!!!!” a third added.
“Ultimate babe,” another wrote.
In the sundrenched photos she enjoyed dinner parties with friends and horse rides along the beach.
While Rebecca’s life appears glamourous, it was turned upside down in 2001 when she inadvertently killed a 9-year-old boy in a car accident.
In 2019 the star appeared on an episode of “The Only One in the Room” podcast where she discussed the incident that almost broke her.
“I had a very terrible accident happen. A 9-year-old child died. And, you know, everything changed from that, and, I still have trouble talking about it,” she explained.
In 2001 Gayheart, best known for playing Toni Marchette on Beverly Hills 90210, was driving in Los Angeles when she struck Jorge Cruz Jr.
He died of his injuries the following day, according to People.
The 47-year-old star explained that the car in front of her slammed on its brakes and she tried to go around it rather than hitting it.
However, Cruz was apparently the reason the car in front of her stopped abruptly and she ended up hitting him.
“It was a soccer ball, his soccer ball went… And he was chasing his soccer ball,” she shared.
She told listeners to never try to swerve around a stopped car rather than hit it because “that car stopped for a reason.”
“I know it’s an accident, I know it’s an accident, but it still… I just go, ‘God I wish I’d stopped for that pack of cigarettes down the street,’ or ‘I wish I was smarter in the moment.’”
People reports that Gayheart pled no contest to vehicular manslaughter, was sentenced to probation, a one-year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine, 750 hours of community service and agreed to pay $10,000 for funeral expenses.
She reportedly also settled a wrongful death lawsuit out of court with Cruz’s parents.
Rebecca said that she “didn’t want to live” after the accident.
I couldn’t handle it at all. So I spent about a year just trying to kill myself, basically, by doing every self-destructive thing a person can do,” she said.
Rebecca started her career as a teen model in the 1980s before moving into film.
In the early nineties she landed a starring role on the series Earth 2 and was a recurring guest star on Beverly Hills, 90210.
She made her feature film debut in the comedy Nothing to Lose in 1997 and then had her big break in Urban Legend the following year.
In the years that followed she starred in black comedy film Jawbreaker in 1999 and then landed a supporting role in the thriller Shadow Hours in 2000.
In 2001 she also featured in the independent comedy Harvard Man.
Urban Legend follows a group of college students at a remote university in New England.
Natalie, played by Alicia Witt, took the lead role as a teenager with a dark past.
She and her friends, which included Rebecca’s character, enrolled in a Folklore class where they learned urban legends.
Their teacher, Professor Wexler, told them a particular tale about a Psych professor who murdered six students 25 years ago.
To the group of friends’ horror, history started to repeat itself and their classmates were found murdered.
