Rav Wilding returns to Morning Live in first TV appearance since confirming secret split from wife after 12 years
RAV Wilding has returned to Morning Live in his first TV appearance since announcing his split from his wife.
The former police officer turned TV presenter revealed earlier this week how he had secretly split from Jill Morgan last year.
In a post on social media, the 46-year-old said: “For those asking questions myself and Jill amicably separated last year.
“Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter.”
And now Rav has returned to screens as he presents his regular crime segment for the BBC’s Morning Live.
He will be helping viewers to feel safer on the streets by discussing anti-social behaviour and what’s being done to tackle the growing problem.
The star put on a brave face as he teased his appearance to hosts Gethin Jones and Janette Manrara.
Rav and Jill welcomed their daughter Poppy in 2020.
Jill has worked as a producer on big BBC productions such as Top Gear and Children in Need.
He got engaged to Jill after seven months of dating back in 2012 and they tied the knot in May 2017 in Barbados.
Rav famously dated Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton in 2010, but they split in 2011 following a public row.
Who hosts BBC Morning Live?
Morning Live has been a staple of BBC One's daytime schedule offering for the last four years and airs directly after BBC Breakfast each weekday at 9.30am. But who presents the show?
The TV star, who was born in Canterbury, Kent, has had numerous professions over the years, including being a soldier and a police officer.
Rav served as the presenter of the original Crimewatch from June 2004 to December 2011 and has been hosting Crimewatch Roadshow since 2009.
