Drama Queens’ Ellie Leach leaves her mum stunned as she reveals she isn’t ’coming home’ after Strictly success
DRAMA Queens star Ellie Leach left her mum stunned after revealing she wasn’t ‘coming home’ after her Strictly Come Dancing success.
The 23-year-old, who won the BBC dance show with Vito Coppola last year, appeared on the programme’s UK tour from January to February.
During ITVBe‘s new reality show Drama Queens, the former Coronation Street actress, filmed the soap star telling her loved ones what she had in planned for the coming months.
Ellie‘s friends and family, including cousin Brooke Vincent, surprised her after her final performance at AO Arena in Manchester.
The star wanted to share some exciting news with the group.
Ellie said: “Thank you for everyone coming. It was really amazing.”
She continued: “Mum… I’m not going to be home as soon as you think because I’ve got a new job.
“You know Cluedo the game? It’s that but as a play!
“So I’m going to be Miss Scarlett. It’s exciting. I’m not even coming home from Strictly tour.
“But it’s a new job!”
Elsewhere in the episode Ellie was left in tears as she spoke about her cheating ex Reagan Pettman.
The star was left sobbing as she spoke about their former relationship.
The Sun revealed that Reagan had a drunken snog with another woman in a nightclub earlier this year.
Ellie began to say: “It’s weird because it, um…”
Her face crumbled as her mum moved over to give her a hug as she told her: “Don’t cry.”
The former Corrie star then told the cameras: “I can truly, truly say that I gave someone everything.
“If that’s not enough, then, it’s not enough.
“But I’m sure it will be enough for somebody else.”
Reagan previously told us: “It sounds cliché but I was really drunk and it all happened at once.
“I knew what I had done was wrong and instantly regretted it.
“I want to rebuild the trust again and for her to be back in my life.”
Ellie shot to fame in 2011 when she took on the role of Faye Windass in Corrie.
She stepped down from the Cobbles last year.
