Trolls call me a ‘council house nit’ for how I redecorated my flat – I’m not insulted, I’m proud of where I came from
A WOMAN has hit back at trolls who have branded her a ‘council estate nit’.
Nat took to social media to show off her next DIY project as she was about to start redecorating her front room.
But her decorating video got the attention of some mean trolls who took to the comments to brand her a ‘council estate nit.’
Nat had stripped the wallpaper off her walls and then lined them as she planned to take her viewers along for the ride of transforming her home.
The next post she uploaded addressed the troll directly as Nat stated she was proud of coming from a council estate.
People try put me down for it like I’m ashamed.

Despite not living on a council estate anymore, Nat revealed there were perks of living on one.
“Council estate nit,” she read aloud.
“I don’t know how many times I have to tell people that I take that as a compliment, like seriously.
“And you’ve commented on a decorating page.”
Nat added that there were perks to living in a close-knit community although she doesn’t live on a council estate anymore, she revealed everyone would muck in to help each other out.
She continued: “And let me tell you now, if I lived on a council estate, at least I’ll be able to call my f**king neighbour for help.”
The mum then showed off her front room which she had prepped to get decorated, and revealed she was planning a feature wall for the room.
The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @natsslife101 with over 65k views and 3,800 likes.
People were quick to take to the comments agreeing with Nat that living on a council estate was the best way to grow up.
One person wrote: “The most humble people I know were bought up on council estates, I miss those days when everyone looked out for each other.”
Another commented: “Okay but the rent on my 3 bed COUNCIL house is only £400 a month so who’s winning.”
“Winner winner chicken nuggets for dinner,” replied Nat.
“Council estate = real people,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Big up the council gurlssssss.”
“Grew up on a council estate, no shame!” claimed a fifth.
“Same… people try put me down for it like I’m ashamed,” responded Nat.
Someone else added: “I grew up on a council estate and loved every minute of my childhood.”
