Love Island feud revealed as Anton takes a brutal swipe at rival saying Georgia H ‘saw his true colours’ in villa
LOVE Island star Anton Danyluk has taken a brutal swipe at show rivals Casey O’Gorman and Mitch Taylor.
The fitness-loving Scotsman faced a battle for Georgia Harrison’s affections from the two bombshell boys before ultimately winning out.
He believes Georgia had to experience spending time with both Casey and Mitch to realise that he was the perfect man for her.
In a new interview, he said: “She always knew that this guy was coming in, who she really cared about – this is Casey by the way – just so you know.”
Casey and Georgia enjoyed a brief fling months before All Stars brought them back together. They had a few heated conversations in the villa as Georgia tried to understand why Casey ghosted her.
Anton continued: “She was starting to like me as the process went on but she didn’t want to hurt me because she cared about me. That’s why we slowed things right down.
“But then she wanted to go with Mitch along the lines of ‘I can easily f**k this guy over’, do you know what I mean? Because he’s that kind of guy. I can drop him like a sack of potatoes, basically.”
He added: “It allowed younger guys to see that’s how a real man should be.”
Anton and Mitch famously clashed in the villa’s kitchen early in the series when the former called out Mitch for making Liberty Poole cry twice in one week.
During the showdown he told Mitch to look at him and “be a man”, sending those watching at home wild.
Since then then there’s been a frosty tension between the parties.
Mitch addressed the feud after leaving the villa in an Instagram video.
He said: “The reason why I have beef with Anton – I don’t even have beef with him anymore, I couldn’t care any less.
“It all stemmed back to the argument in the kitchen we had. It wasn’t the argument, it was the next day I brought him aside and I just said ‘Listen Anton, I’m sorry for going mad at you. I’ve heard that you didn’t say anything bad about me.’
“Anton didn’t say anything, at all. He literally said point blank to my face, ‘I didn’t say anything bad about you.’
“So I felt bad, I apologised. Even when I left the villa and did Aftersun with Maya I apologised to him then.
“It wasn’t til I got my phone back and saw the edit – he was talking crap on me and the fact is, he lied to me, talked nonsense, but I didn’t speak bad on him.”
He previously made it clear that he thought their relationship was fake and even tried to vote them out of the villa ahead of the final episode.
