I’m an astrologist – the exact Grand National horse you should back depending on your star sign
An astrologist has revealed which horse you should bet on in the grand national, depending on your star sign.
The 2024 Randox Grand National will take place in just a few days time, on April 13th, and 34 horses are set to race in a steeplechase worth £1 million.
Many people will be placing bets on the horses, in the hopes of winning themselves some cash, but deciding which horse to bet on can be an incredibly tricky decision.
With this in mind, betting tips site The Winners Enclosure has teamed up with astrologer Inbaal Hongiman to reveal which horse you should bet on, based on your Zodiac sign.
Inbaal analysed the characters and personality traits of the horse’s and matched them with the star sign most similar to them.
She revealed that Aries are most suited to this years’ favourite and last year’s winner Corach Rambler, whilst Capricorns should bet on the 2022 runner up Delta Work.
Pisces
Horse: Mahler Mission
Inbaal says that Pisces should back Mahler Mission this year.
She said: “Mahler Mission experienced an agonising fall at second last in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham in 2023, moments after seemingly cruising to a win.
“Folk born under the sign of the Fish live for such drama, and can handle a tragedy with their chins held high, so they’ll appreciate a horse that bounces back from disaster.”
Cancer
Horse: Meetingofthewaters
Inbaal revealed: “Meetingofthewater’s name is watery and welcoming, just like the sign of Cancer.
“People born under the sign of the Crab are the most emotional and watery of all the signs, ruled by the moon and devoted to their nearest and dearest. They’d naturally gravitate towards a horse named for their watery element.”
TAURUS
Horse: Vanillier
Vanillier won second place in the race in 2023.
Inbaal said: “Vanillier has started to impress at a young age, and has been a reliable racer.
“Those born under the sign of the Bull also tend to be advanced for their age and dependable, and so will see eye to eye with such a hard working horse.”
Scorpio
Horse: Galvin
Scorpios are are known for telling dramatic stories.
Inbaal said: “Galvin has been involved in a very public accident in the 2023 Grand National, and Scorpios are no strangers to intense situations.
“People born under the sign of the Scorpion can understand how this horse can still be a favourite, despite having endured hardship.”
Leo
Horse: Mr Incredible
Inbaal said: “Mr Incredible has the kind of name that means he’ll expect to win, no matter the circumstances.
“Folk born under the sign of the Lion have a natural affinity with winners, as they believe that they’re going to come first, even when the odds are against them, their optimism shines.”

“Folk born under the sign of the Archer are also adventurous and love to jump, so they can relate to such an intrepid horse.”
Aries
Horse: Corach Rambler
Inbaal said that Aries should back the 2023 champion.
She said: “Corach Rambler is an Aries by birth, and is typical to the sign, and is known for his fearless approach.
“Those born under the sign of the Ram tend to push forward whatever the weather, and will relate to such a brave horse.”
Libra

Inbaal said: “Panda Boy hasn’t won in nearly two years, but has shown excellent performances nonetheless, which points to his grace and balance.”
“People born under the sign of the Scales are graceful and elegant and can get behind a horse that does his best, whether he’s first, second or third.”
Gemini
Horse: I Am Maximus
Cheltenham Gold Cup winning trainer Willie Mullins’ favourite to win is I Am Maximus, and Inbaal said that Gemini‘s should back this horse as well.
She said: “I Am Maximus has had a chequered history, sometimes the best and sometimes less so, which makes him an enigma.
“Folk born under the sign of the Twins know what it’s like to have to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, and will understand what makes this horse tick.”
Aquarius
Horse: Kitty’s Light
Aquarius are unpredictable and Inbaal said: “Kitty’s Light is an Aquarian by birth, and gallops to the beat of his own drum, going without any wins for a long period, and then completing a rare double in 2023.
