Photo of OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown on vacation with the Kardashians resurfaces as Caitlyn Jenner says ‘good riddance’
A THROWBACK photo of OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown on vacation with the Kardashian family has resurfaced online after the disgraced former NFL star died on Wednesday.
The Kardashians appear in the group photo with the former footballer and his ex.
The Kardashian family posed for the camera during the family vacation.
They were on their Easter getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The 1994 photo of OJ and his then ex-wife Nicole was taken weeks before she was murdered.
In the snapshot, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe smiled happily in their swimsuits.
The Kardashians vacationed with OJ, Nicole, her sister Dominque Brown, and the Simpson children – Justin and Sydney – who were in their preteens at the time.
Matriarch Kris Jenner, and her then-spouse, former Olympic star Caitlyn Jenner, invited their best friend Nicole to join them for the luxury holiday.
Nicole also brought along her companion, Faye Resnick.
On June 24, 1994, less than three months after this picture was taken, Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman – who did not appear in the photo – were murdered.
THE MUDERS
On June 12, 1994, Nicole and Ron were found stabbed to death outside of her condo in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Goldman and Brown were found with multiple stab wounds to the head, neck, and body.
Investigators believed Nicole fought for her life as she suffered defensive wounds on her hands.
A single bloodied black glove was found at the crime scene.
OJ was ultimately arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
When Simpson’s double murder trial began in January 1995, the media coverage followed seemingly nonstop until the verdict’s end.
In the end, the jury deliberated for only three hours and acquitted Simpson of all charges.
HIS DEATH
On Wednesday, Simpson, 76, died following his battle with cancer, his family announced.
The family said he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren in Las Vegas when he died.
The former NFL star was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February.
