A MUM-OF-TWO has opened up about how she went from being £35,000 in debt to earning £16 million in just over six years.
Sunday Times-bestselling author Lisa Johnson, 46, turned her life around after growing up on a council estate and being bullied at school and is now a global business strategist helping others to create passive and semi-passive income streams.

In the past six years, Lisa has made £16 million – and claimed that she once earned £1 million in an hour – yes, you heard that correctly.
Not only does Lisa make money from her business product launches, but she’s also a host of a number one podcast, Making Money Online.
As reported by Daily Mail, Lisa explained that when she started her business, all she wanted to do was leave her old job.
She claimed that if she could make £2,000 a month, she would be happy.
But things quickly snowballed, as Lisa revealed: “In 2021, during the global pandemic, I made £2.5m in one week – £1m in the first hour from sales from one launch alone.”
Lisa explained that now, she teaches people how to make money from knowledge that is already in their heads, as she added: “And it doesn’t have to be too complex – it could be someone who teaches hula-hooping, or sewing patterns, it doesn’t matter.”
This mother-of-two grew up living in social housing and was badly bullied for being poor and wearing second-hand clothing during her childhood.
She left school at the age of just 16 and was told she wouldn’t amount to anything, but then, after working full time as an admin assistant, at the age of 23, Lisa decided that she was destined for more.
Lisa went on to get a law degree at the age of 27 and whilst she had successful careers in law, banking and the entertainment industry, she felt unfulfilled.
Despite earning £60,000 at a job in Canary Wharf, after welcoming twin boys Finnian and Albert 12 years ago, Lisa realised that her marriage was failing, and needed a 9-5 job near her house.
As a result, she secured a junior admin assistant role, meaning she went from earning £60,000 to a £20,000 job.
She went back to work when her little ones were just five months old and as a now single mother, realised that she was spending more on childcare than her personal assistant job was bringing in.
But determined to make more money, Lisa set up her own wedding planning business.

However, she admitted that she had no idea what she was doing and ended up falling into £35,000 of debt.
But what could have led to a very bad patch for Lisa turned into a light bulb moment – as she began dedicating her time to learning as much as she could about business, and after just five months, had turned the business around.
Following this, Lisa explained: “I then spent a year going to every free webinar, I couldn’t afford to pay for anything because my credit cards were all maxed out.
“So I just went to the library, read every single business book I could get my hands on and I turned that business around to be profitable.”
And that’s when Lisa began to teach others everything she’d learned about business.

In 2017, she launched a strategy business, and within six months she’d made £100,000 in profit.
In the first year alone she raked in £220,000 and by the end of year two, she had generated over a million.

LISA previously opened up to Fabulous about her lavish lifestyle.
She revealed: “We get opportunities now that I wouldn’t have had before.
“I’m able to take my friends and my colleagues on a private jet every year.
“I’ve been on holiday everywhere. We took the kids to Las Vegas, the Maldives, we’ve been to Dubai a fair few times, Malta too and we’ve stayed in the most beautiful hotels.
“I travel a lot with work as well – I hold retreats for people and we do that in Los Angeles, Miami and Croatia.”
Not only is Lisa able to travel the world, but she’s also bought herself a posh pad too.
She continued: “I used to spend a lot of money on myself and I love bags, but I realised about two years ago, when you first get money you spend a lot because you never had it before.
“Now I have bought properties so that my money is invested and the money is making me money.
“We just got a multi-million pound house because that’s more of an investment.”
Now Lisa helps other businesses develop through her course, One To Many, which is a programme to teach entrepreneurs how to make money online.
The savvy mum can now make £2 million when she launches a new product.
