Food fans in meltdown after pub launches Britain’s first GRAVY fountain with up to 30 pieces of fried chicken
A PUB has sent foodies into meltdown by launching Britain’s first gravy fountain.
The £30 treat at The Leopard in Nantwich, Cheshire, comes with 20 to 30 fried chicken pieces to dip into it.
Executive chef, Gary Evans, 40, said: “It’s put a grin on people’s faces
“We always try new things and to make things a little bit fun.
“I’m not a massive sweet guy, I’m more of a savoury person.
“Then this just popped into my head and I thought ‘let’s give it a go and see what happens’ and it worked.
“It’s a meal for four-five to share.
“There’ll be between 20 and 30 chicken tenders on there.
“The fountain brings an element of the theatrical to the everyday.
“It’s just a bit of fun.”
