Amanda Owen breaks silence on son’s new TV show after Our Yorkshire Farm’s axe in first post for two months
AMANDA Owen has broken her silence after her son Reuben’s brand new Channel 5 show kicked off.
The mum-of-nine broke her months-long social media silence to heap praise on the 20-year-old.
Sharing a selfie with Reuben on her Yorkshire farm, Amanda said: “So proud of the big lad @reubenowen74.
“H’es a star.”
Reuben’s Channel 5 show explores his love for machinery and attempts to grow his business.
Called Life In The Dales, the show launched last Thursday and consists of six episodes.
Meanwhile, Amanda’s fans were left concerned for her after noticing how she’s apparently lost weight.
One follower said: “Oh Amanda. Worried about you, as you are so thin. Please look after yourself.”
A second wrote: “Looks like Mum’s lost so much weight.”
Amanda, 49, first shot to fame with her children and ex husband Clive when Our Yorkshire Farm landed on Channel 5 in 2018.
However, the beloved series came to a sudden end when Amanda and Clive announced they were divorcing after 22 years together.
Reuben previously addressed their split in an interview when asked about their family relationship now.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: “It’s quite simple really. Everyone gets along great. It’s not really changed for any of us, if you get me.”
Last year The Sun exposed Amanda’s five-year fling with a 71-year-old web designer.
