‘It’s only increasing in price’ – petrolheads urged to pick up rare sports car with ‘completely timeless design’
AN EXPERT petrolhead has urged drivers to consider buying a stunning sports car from the 2000s that he says is “only increasing in price”.
Motoring guru Jonny Brighton of the YouTube channel CarsWithJB has picked out an ultra-stylish coupe he describes as having a “completely timeless design.”
YouTube star Jonny Brighton has picked out a unqiue sports car that might excite petrolheads[/caption]The motor in question is the gorgeous TVR T350 that was produced by the British brand between 2002 and 2006.
Available as both a coupe or targa, Jonny believes the T350 “generally looks like a TVR Sagaris without the telltale flarey bits” but comes with a slightly smaller motor than its brand-mate – a 3.6-litre inline-six capable of 350 bhp that can hit 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
Looks-wise, Jonny believes the little sports car has aged extremely well, saying: “I think this car has a completely timeless design.
You could easily mistake it for being brand new

“I think if a brand brought out a car with this body-shape today, but added some nice modern features like a new infotainment and the rest, you could easily mistake it for being brand new.
“I even think cars like the [Jaguar] F-Type look pretty similar to it, despite being years newer.”
Unfortunately, only 460 T350 models were ever built making this little motor quite rare to find.
However, they’re currently appreciating price and might make a sound investment for a car collector.
Jonny said: “The T350C is only increasing in price at the moment.
“Shortly after release back in 2008, these were available for around the £25,000-mark in very good condition, but now they start at around the £31k-mark.
“They are quite rare though, so can be hard to come by in general but for that kind of money you’ll get yourself a 2005 example with 40,000 miles on the clock.”
This comes as Jonny recently picked out a hybrid sports car as a “future classic” – claiming the motor is also “cheap to run”.
And elsewhere, one lucky petrolhead could own a piece of racing history as an iconic Japanese supercar – once owned by a legend of Formula One – is set to sell for £500,000.
