Arsenal fans will hold minute’s applause for schoolboy supporter tragically killed in sword attack
ARSENAL fans will hold a minute’s applause tomorrow for the schoolboy supporter who was killed in a sword rampage.
More than 60,000 fans are set to clap for football-mad Daniel Anjorin, 14, in the Premier League game.
It will take place in the 14th minute of the match at the Emirates stadium, as the Gunners take on Bournemouth.
Daniel died in the sword attacks at Hainault, North East London, on Tuesday, which left four others injured.
A fan account wrote online: “Arsenal-loving Daniel will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.”
More than £95,000 has been raised for Daniel’s family through a GoFundMe page.
A candlelit vigil will be held for the schoolboy at Hainault’s Underground Station on Sunday.
Marcus Monzo, 36, of Beckton, East London, is charged with murder, two attempted murders, aggravated burglary, two counts of grievous bodily harm and possessing a sword.
He will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
