The U.S. Embassy of Luxembourg and the Commune of Parc Hosingen revived an old tradition with the former Commune of Hoscheid (now part of the Commune of Parc Hosingen) gifting the Embassy a Christmas tree as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices made by U.S. troops to liberate the area during the Battle of the Bulge.
