WATCH: Florida man stops traffic to rescue toddlers wandering alone on busy road

A Florida man could scarcely believe his eyes as he drove down the state’s A1A highway this week and spotted two toddlers in the busy roadway.

John Brittingham, a father of five, quickly pulled over, stopped traffic and scooped up the two little girls. He then discovered a nearby open gate at a vacation rental and reunited the girls with their family.

The rescue was captured on Brittingham’s dashcam:
