New questions erupt about Ketanji Jackson’s integrity after appearing at leftist Grammys

Ketanji Jackson, Joe Biden’s appointee to the U.S. Supreme Court, made clear her loyalty was to the LGBT agenda rather than the Constitution when, during her confirmation hearing, she either was unable or simply refused to define what is a woman.

Since then, she has delivered blunders one after another in and out of the court, appearing in a leftist theatrical production, and stunningly insisting that America should be run by bureaucrats, not those in-the-way elected officials.

But now she’s been hit with a new scandal, with the eruption of questions about her ethics and integrity, after she appeared at a leftist Hollywood production.

A report at Just the News explains the concerns are over her support for the 68th annual Grammy Awards last weekend, where she appeared for being nominated for a storytelling honor.

The report explained the bias throughout the show: “The star-studded evening featured multiple performances and speeches highlighting opposition to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny devoted his acceptance speech for Best Música Urbana Album to immigrant issues. ‘Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ICE out,’ he declared, earning a standing ovation from the audience.”

Further was Billie Eilish’s comments that now have erupted into a scandal for her, when she said, “No one is illegal on stolen land.”

It turns out her pricey home is located on land that originally was used by a tribe.

Others were seen wearing pins stating, “ICE OUT,” and Jackson, sitting with her husband, “was reportedly smiling and applauding throughout the show.”

The report said commenters, including New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, charged that such visible support for political ideologies could cast doubt on her impartiality.

She did not win an award.

But WorldNetDaily reported when during her confirmation she was asked, “What is a woman?” in the context of the transgender agenda.

Her response was that she is not a biologist.

During Supreme Court oral arguments over that very issued she fretted that children with two X chromosomes, biologically and immutably female – were the only “girls” allowed to compete in girls’ sports, if the court were to rule in favor of those who favor sex-specific programs in public schools and colleges.

LISTEN:

She also insisted that bureaucrats should run the country, not elected officials, prompting constitutional expert Jonathan Turley to express doubts.

The arguments were over just exactly which bureaucrats Trump can remove from their positions.

He said, “As is increasingly becoming the case, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson stole the show with some of her comments on her view of the underlying constitutional issues. She suggested that ‘experts’ in the Executive Branch generally should not be subject to termination by a president. It is a virtual invitation for a technocracy rather than a democracy.”

Jackson had ranted:

I really don’t understand why the agencies aren’t answering to Congress. Congress established them and can eliminate them. Congress funds them, and can stop. So, to the extent that we’re concerned that there’s some sort of entity that is out of control and has no control, I guess I don’t understand that argument.

I guess I have a very different view of the dangers, and real-world consequences of your position than what you explored with Justice Kavanaugh. My understanding was that independent agencies exist because Congress has decided that some issues, some matters, some areas should be handled in this way by non-partisan experts, that Congress is saying that expertise matters — with respect to aspects of the economy, and transportation, and the various independent agencies that we have. So, having a president come in and fire all the scientists, and the doctors, and the economists, and the PhDs, and replacing them with loyalists and people who don’t know anything, is actually not in the best interest of the citizens of the United States. These issues should not be in presidential control. So, can you speak to me about the danger of allowing, in these various areas, the president to actually control the Transportation Board and potentially the Federal Reserve, and all these other independent agencies. In these particular areas, we would like to have independence, we don’t want the president controlling. I guess what I don’t understand from your overarching argument is why that determination of Congress — which makes perfect sense given its duty to protect the people of the United States, why that is subjugated to a concern about the president not being able to control everything.

Further, she publicly has complained that the court is letting the White House win cases.

She wrote in a dissent that the “recent tendencies” of the court to side with the Trump administration are wrong.

“This is Calvinball jurisprudence with a twist. Calvinball has only one rule: There are no fixed rules. We seem to have two: that one, and this administration always wins,” she scolded.

Calvinball, in fact, comes out of the hilarious comic strip and book creations of Bill Watterson, where Calvin, the precocious little boy, plays games with his pet, stuffed, tiger, and there are no fixed rules.

Jackson’s claims, however, fall apart when considering the dozens and dozens of court rulings that have gone against the Trump administration at various court levels, based on the hundreds of legal cases leftists have brought against him as he pursues his Make America Great Again agenda.
