Floyd Mayweather lives up to ‘Money’ nickname after tipping every cook £238 at Las Vegas seafood and steak restaurant
FLOYD “MONEY” MAYWEATHER lived up to his nickname by reportedly tipping every cook £238 while out for dinner with friends.
The 42-year-old was out celebrating a friend’s birthday at Catch Las Vegas with 16 other pals when he decided to make the generous gesture.
After enjoying his dinner, the boxing legend decided to visit the kitchen and thank the chefs by giving them all £238.
An insider told Page Six: “He personally thanked everyone.
“The cooks were ecstatic and thankful!”
Mayweather enjoys the lavish lifestyle of a man that has earned hundreds of millions of pounds down the years.
And the superstar recently showed off a stunning car collection worth over £2million.
But he had to endure a nightmare experience in prison when he was jailed in 2012 after pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge.
Mayweather reportedly shunned the prison food, instead dining on Snickers, noodles and beef jerky in a radical shift from his usual high life.
The American retired after knocking out Conor McGregor in their 2017 megabucks crossover fight – but returned a year later to defeat Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Tokyo.
And SunSport revealed that Mayweather has ditched plans for a second exhibition – in order to rematch Manny Pacquiao.

Hong Kong’s DEF Promotions director and promoter Jay Lau told SunSport: “Mayweather came two times to Hong Kong, he spoke with my son Jayson and we had communications but now he is focussing the Pacquiao rematch.
“We were talking about an exhibition in China, a big event but not a recorded professional boxing fight. Something like Mayweather vs Tenshin in Japan.
“We spoke a bit about doing a special fight in China, but half way through he turned to the Pacquiao rematch so we stopped.”
