Polish book makers have Koki Inoue as unbackable favourite!
Tomorrow Japanese Light Welterweight champion Koki Inoue (15-0, 12) [浩樹井上] will be defending his title against mandatory challenger Daishi Nagata (14-2-1, 5) [永田大士] at Korakuen Hall. The bout, which was originally scheduled for March 16th, is part of the annual Champion Carnival series of bouts and will also be the first Japanese title fight since the "on going global situation" saw boxing being shut down around the globe.
Interestingly no British betting companies have picked up the bout but Polish book maker STS have. They do however, see the bout as a total mismatch.
The champion has been priced at 1/33 to win the bout whilst Nagata is priced at 8/1.
Of course there is more value in the method of victory market. This sees Inoue priced at 1/3 to win by stoppage and 3/1 to win by decision. Nagata on the other hand is a huge 18/1 to win by decision and the same price to win by stoppage.
The length of bout market for the bout has been set at 6.5 rounds. Under is 7/10 and over is 2/1.
Whilst we know only a small fraction of our readers can gamble in Poland, we do like to see the odds on STS as they do tend to provide a wider scope of betting than most other book makers. The odds here certainly show just how one sided this bout is seen in Poland, with Inoue expected to blitz through the talented challenger.
