Kanye West got roasted on Twitter for calling Puma's 'embarrassingly trash'
Listen, there’s absolutely no denying what Yeezy has become as a brand thanks to Kanye West.
It’s one of the premier sneaker and apparel brands in the world now and it’s done all of that work in about five years time. It’s been pretty incredible to watch and, for the most part, the shoes have been solid!
But there have also been some pretty terrible looking things to come from Yeezy. Distressed shirts with holes in them. Kicks that look like dumplings. The foam runner — you know, that ridiculous looking Croc thing.
People eat it up because it’s Yeezy, of course. But we gotta admit it, folks. It’s not always that good.
That’s why it was hilarious when Kanye West got on Twitter and not only named himself the head of Adidas, but also said he was reuniting the company with Puma and would be designing all of Puma’s and Adidas’ shoes from now on.
That’s when the internet promptly reminded him that he created these disasters. Just like he created Yeezus.
And these.
Wait, there’s more.
The thing is, Pumas look pretty good for the most part! Sure, they’re a bit redundant in design at times. But they’re definitely good.
Sheesh, Ye.
