Cheltenham Festival tips: Win some cash without the need for a winner thanks to our expert each-way tips

SUN RACING is back to give you some insight on big horses at even bigger prices at Cheltenham Festival – after landing an 11-winner.

Here, we try to find the value bets which could net you a tasty return from a small stake, just like we did with Black Tears at Cheltenham on day one.

And seeing as it’s Cheltenham, let’s push the boat out and try our luck with the following four selections in an each-way Lucky 15.

Remember, in a Lucky 15 your bets are four single bets, six doubles, four trebles and one four-fold accumulator.

BOTOX HAS (2.30)

Gary Moore’s hurdler has a cracking record at Cheltenham with a second in a Grade 2 before following up with two smooth wins. He enjoyed stepping up to 2m3f when a solid sixth at Ascot last time and this longer distance again should bring more improvement. This is wide open but he has a solid each-way chance.

HOGAN’S HEIGHT (3.40)

He’s been preparing for this challenge with a couple of quiet hurdles runs but his last chase effort was a superb win in the Grand Sefton Chase at Aintree. He jumped the National fences brilliantly and should take well to this cross-country course. He’s a massive price to run into the frame.

ENTOUCAS (4.15)

This consistent seven-year-old ran another big race when fourth in the prestigious Matheson Chase at Leopardstown last time. He’s been raised a fair 5lb for that and has plenty of pace for this trip along with the staying power you need for the Cheltenham hill.

THREE STRIPE LIFE (4.50)

He comes into the Champion Bumper with a strong chance after an impressive debut win at Navan in January. He travelled like a classy horse there and pulled right away from his rivals. There should be plenty more to come.

1.20 Gaillard Du Mesnil (nb)

Improving fast and plenty in hand when winning a Grade 1 last time.

1.55 Monkfish

Won at last year’s Festival and looks a superstar over fences already.

2.30 Grand Roi

Will improve for this longer trip on handicap debut.

3.05 POLITOLOGUE (NAP)

Last year’s winner can go very close again over ideal trip.

3.40 Some Neck

Won here last time and good price to hit the frame again.

4.15 Chosen Mate (treble)

Won this last year and trained to peak again today.

4.50 Sir Gerhard

Three easy wins so far and can take another big step forward.

HUNTINGDON

12.35   Solwara One   

Brings much the strongest form into this race.

1.10     Mackie Dee

Good winner over course and distance and has more to come.

1.45     Maliboo          

Been going close at this level and doesn’t need a lot more.

2.20     Powerston Park          

Won easily on Monday and this looks no tougher on hat-trick bid.

2.55     Bombyx           

Good Flat form and should make a decent hurdler.

3.30     Max Dynamo  

Won this last year and needed his comeback at Leicester last time.

4.00     Lebowski         

Knocking on the door and good chance to get off the mark.

LINGFIELD

1.30     Hey Ho Let’s Go          

Good run last time and this longer trip should suit well.

2.05     Clashaniska     

Plenty in hand when winning over course and distance last time.

2.40     Alpha King       

Bred to be classy and went close on debut at Newcastle latest.

3.15     Beat Le Bon     

Has winning form here and ran on well at Newcastle last time.

3.50     Unforgiving Minute    

Keeps winning at this level and looks hard to beat.

4.25     Renardeau      

Capable of landing a fourth course and distance win.

5.00     Convertible     

Went close here last time and Oisin Murphy gets on board.

KEMPTON

4.05     Brown Delivers           

Good run at Chelmsford last time and more to come.

4.40     Cristal Pallas Cat         

Has won better races than this and trip suits.

5.15     Air Of York      

Missed kick last time and handicapped for big run if breaking better.

5.45     Ridgeway Avenue       

Improved effort when second at Yarmouth when last seen.

6.20     Epic Express    

Went close at Chelmsford latest and should be right there again.

6.50     Uzincso           

Has landed five wins over this course and distance.

7.20     Vibrance          

Went close here last time and saves best for this trip.

7.50     Love Destiny   

Finished strongly when a close fourth here last time out.
