Ricky Gervais perfectly trolled the Oscars by tweeting his legendary Golden Globes monologue

The Oscars were held last night in Los Angeles and if you watched along on TV you might have noticed the show didn’t have a host.

Ricky Gervais, the brilliant comedian and actor, noticed and had a little fun pointing out that he wasn’t there to play the role of host, which he has done before at the Golden Globes.

This year’s Oscars had a weird ending and an awkward sex callout during an acceptance speech.

What it didn’t have was a hilarious monologue like the one Gervais did at the Golden Globes last year.

He had a little fun sharing that Sunday night:

He really should be hosting all the awards shows.
