UFC Hall-of-Famer Michael Bisping has claimed he was punched by a random man for filming in the street – but the strike didn’t faze the former middleweight champion.
Britain’s first and only UFC titleholder is currently enjoying some downtime with his family in New Orleans.
But The Count ended up eating an unexpected knuckle sandwich after a disagreement with a member of the public.
Early on Sunday morning, the 42-year-old tweeted: “Was just assaulted.
“Guy got in my face for filming on a public street. I told him to go away and he punched me.
“Was literally so soft I laughed at him.
“So funny that someone that acts so tough hits like such a bitch, I laughed and walked away. Man I’m mature these days.”
Bisping‘s legion of fans were quick to ask why he refrained from hitting the man back.

He replied: “I was literally laughing so hard at how pathetic the punch was I don’t think I could of hit him.”
He later added: “I doubt the loser will ever know [who I am] but I thank him for the laughs.”
A few hours later, fan favourite Bisping shared a snap of his alleged assailant.
Along with a series of laughing emojis, the Clitheroe clubber wrote: “This is the guy.”
The snap’s accompanying caption read: “If you know this guy in New Orleans, tell him he hits like a b***h.”
MMA fans were stunned by the bravery of the man, with one saying: “Guy came so close to death and doesn’t even realize it.”

And another said: “I hope dude realizes later how close he came to dying lmao.”
Bisping’s fighting days came to an end in May 2018 following back-to-back losses to Georges St-Pierre and Kelvin Gastelum.
And the Ultimate Fighter season three winner has no intention of resuming his combat sports career.
He told SunSport earlier this month: “I’ve been there, done it and got the t-shirt. I’ve had a lot of fights. At the time of my retirement, I set a lot of records, won the belt.

“There’s nothing more to do. I’m in the bloody Hall of Fame, it’s unreal.
“I’m a competitor, though, and I still like to do it. But unfortunately, my body has failed me in many ways.
“I’ve had two total knee replacements, I surgery on my neck in January.
“They put a titanium plate in my neck, they want to go and put another two titanium plates. But fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that.
“Obviously I’m blind in one eye, I’ve got bloody this massive lump on the wrist – that hurts.
“So my body is a mess, but I still like to go in there and compete. So I go in and do some jiu-jitsu here and there.
“I might compete in some jiu-jitsu or something like that or some grappling. But yeah, my fighting days are over.”
