Juventus meet with Dybala’s agent today
Juventus are reportedly scheduled to meet with Paulo Dybala today, ready to start the negotiations for a new deal at the Allianz Stadium.
The Argentine’s contract expires in June 2022 and the contract talks started towards the end of 2019-20, when the 27-year-old was named MVP in Serie A.
His future at Continassa has not been resolved, but the change of managers and coaches at Juventus leads to a more likely renewal for Dybala.
TMW reports agent Jorge Antun is expected at the Bianconeri headquarters today and will continue discussing Dybala’s future in Turin.
Dybala returned to training yesterday, after recovering from a muscle problem, and Antun is in Italy for a couple of weeks.
The agent arrived 10 days ago but had to spend them in isolation due to the coronavirus protocol in Italy and today is the first meeting scheduled with the Old Lady directors.
The two parties will reopen the dialogue but are not expected to reach an agreement after only one meeting.
The reports claims the two parties will talk about the duration of the new deal and a possible termination clause, plus the economic agreement including bonuses.
Dybala reportedly wants to remain and reunite with coach Massimiliano Allegri, who wants to show the player faith ang give him the confidence needed to perform in Turin for the next few years.
