Belmont leaving OVC for MVC in 2022

Belmont announced Tuesday that it has accepted an invitation to join the Missouri Valley Conference beginning in the fall of 2022.

The Bruins, who currently play in the Ohio Valley Conference, will become the 11th school in the MVC.

"On behalf of our coaches and athletic staff, we are thrilled to become the newest member of the Missouri Valley Conference," Belmont director of athletics Scott Corley said in a statement.
