Photos: Jose Zepeda's brutal knockout of Josue Vargas

Jose Zepeda delivered a Knockout of the Year candidate on Saturday in New York City.

Zepeda (35-2, 27 KOs) put Josue Vargas (19-2, 9 KOs) flat on his face with a thunderous left hand and then finished the job with a series of hard shots moments that prompted the referee to stop the fight.

The 140-pound contender needed only 1 minute, 45 seconds to get the job done.
