Dana White's Contender Series 46 results: Two UFC contracts awarded, but not for wheel kick KO

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene at Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 46 event where two fighters earned contracts in the final episode of the show’s fifth season.

Dana White’s Contender Series cards see prospects fighting for the opportunity to sign a UFC deal, with UFC president Dana White on hand to make the decisions.

In the featured bout, 21-year-old Chinese lightweight Maheshate (6-1) took on previously-undefeated Canadian prospect Achilles Estremadura (7-1).

The UFC Apex hosted Tuesday’s card, which streamed on ESPN+.
