Predators to retire Pekka Rinne's No. 35
The Nashville Predators will retire the No. 35 worn by goalie Pekka Rinne in a ceremony on Feb. 24, making his number the first retired by the franchise.
Rinne announced his retirement July 13 after 15 seasons with the Predators. He is the franchise's regular-season leader in games (683), starts (667), wins (369), shutouts (60), goals-against average (2.43) and saves (17,627). He played his entire career with Nashville.
