Reports: Fire close to hiring Ezra Hendrickson as head coach

The Chicago Fire are in discussions to hire Columbus Crew assistant Ezra Hendrickson as their next head coach, multiple outlets reported.

Hendrickson, 49, was an assistant coach with both the LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders before joining the Crew's staff in 2019. He was head coach of Seattle Sounders FC 2 of the USL Championship from 2014-18.
