Why did Bengals star Ja'Marr Chase opt out of junior season at LSU for NFL Draft?

Chase's decision to opt out amid the COVID-19 pandemic was met with shock and, in some cases, criticism. But it clearly hasn't had a negative effect on his rookie season.
