Betcris grows its Guatemalan base with CD Malacateco deal
April 12 – Online bookmaker Betcris, based in Costa Rica, has increased its sponsorship footprint in Central America with a three-year deal with Guatemalan club Toros del Malacateco (CD Malacateco).
Last month Betcris signed an agreement with nine League of Honduran clubs. Betcris is already title sponsor of the league.
The bookmaker already has a presence in Guatemalan football as the sponsor of the Municipal, Antigua and Xelajú clubs, and said it wants to further consolidate its position in the country.
