Bob Stoops, Rod Woodson among new XFL head coaches

The XFL announced the head coaches who will lead the eight teams when the league returns to play next year, naming a mix of veteran and first-time head coaches on Wednesday.

At the helm will be Reggie Barlow, Anthony Becht, Terrell Buckley, Jim Haslett, Wade Phillips, Bob Stoops, Hines Ward and Rod Woodson.

The XFL is scheduled to begin play in February 2023. It has not yet announced team names or the cities where they
