Wyoming PG Hunter Maldonado withdraws from NBA draft

Wyoming standout point guard Hunter Maldonado said Friday he is pulling out of the NBA draft and returning to school.

Maldonado averaged 18.5 points, 6.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds last season while earning first-team All-Mountain West honors. He also led the Cowboys to an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Maldonado released a video on Twitter with the words "one more year" at the end.

Maldonado ranks ninth in Wyoming history
